?Fight injustice on lines of Tilak, Azad?
TO MARK the 150th birth year of Bal Ganga Dhar Tilak and the birth centenary of Chandra Sekhar Azad, a seminar was organised in the Library Hall of Allahabad High Court Bar Association (HCBA) today.

Addressing the seminar, a member of governing council of HCBA, Ashish Dubey, said young lawyers should take inspiration from the great patriot Tilak and the great revolutionary Azad to fight injustice and violence.
Presiding over the programme, joint secretary (Library) HCBA, Santosh Kumar Pandey, said Tilak’s slogan ‘Swaraj is my birth right and I shall have it’ must be followed by all citizens to allay exploitation and tyranny.
He said after independence, a section of our leaders made all possible efforts to
divide the nation in the name of caste and religion.
So, at this juncture, the slogan of ‘Jai Hind’can help keep India united and stronger.
Conducting the meeting, joint secretary (Press), Shashi Sekhar Tiwari, said following the footsteps of Azad, the nation could be rid of corruption, anarchy and terrorism.
Besides, one should follow the teachings of Tilak, who connected spiritualism with nationalism.
Others who took part in the seminar included senior vice-president Mamta Maurya, Avanindra Kumar Mishra alias Vikas, vice-president Anuradha Sundaram, treasurer Himanshu Singh, Members of Governing Council- Vineeta Jaisawal, Atul Kumar Pandey, Adarsh Kumar Pandey, former AN Dubey, member of governing council of High Court Bar Association Anil Pathak and others.
Meanwhile, the Jai Hind Foundation too organised a function at Chandrashekhar Azad Park on Sunday to mark the birth anniversary of the revolutionary.
On the occasion, chief guest Justice AKYog administered oath to the members of the foundation.
Members pledged to remain united in the fight against terrorism, frustration and corruption prevailing in the country.
Besides, they also vowed to break the barriers of caste and religion.
Earlier, members paid tributes to the freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad by lighting candles.
