FIR against Akshay, Twinkle
The Vakola police on Saturday evening lodged an FIR against actor Akshay Kumar, his wife Twinkle and organisers of the Lakme Fashion Week following a complaint by a social activist who accused them of obscenity in public.

The Vakola police on Saturday evening lodged an FIR against actor Akshay Kumar, his wife Twinkle and organisers of the Lakme Fashion Week following a complaint by a social activist who accused them of obscenity in public.
On March 30, Twinkle had reportedly unbuttoned the actor’s jeans during a fashion show at Grand Hyatt. Anil Nair (29), a social activist from Santacruz, said this was indecent behaviour.
The police are expected to acquire video clippings of the incident. Senior Inspector Sanjay Nikelikar, of the Vakola police station, said: “We will investigate and take appropriate action.”
Akshay Kumar had apologised for the incident after the complaint was filed.
