The case would be registered on Friday. Secretary LDA RB Yadav made the statement in this connection on Thursday.
The matter further laid bare the racket of illegal occupancy at the colony involving LDA employees. Sources said that the seal of flats were broken by those enjoying political patronage and with the connivance of LDA staff. The drive to evict illegal occupants also revealed the discrepancies done in allotment of the flats. The list of illegal occupants published by the LDA in newspapers carried names of RP Singh and Sudhir Mehrotra too. The duo had occupied the flats without depositing even a single penny for the flats. The documents in the department, however, had showed that the duo had not taken the possession of the flats and the allotment to the flats was ‘out of turn’.
On the other hand, Estate officer KK Singh said that those who had deposited the amount for the allotment have been given notice of last date—-April 30.
CO Gomti Nagar Man Singh Chauhan said the police would initiate action against those who had broken the seal of the flats and taken possession again.
