FIR registered for violating model code of conduct
An FIR has been lodged against unidentified persons for allegedly violating the model code of conduct by distributing calenders having photo and name of an independent candidate.

An FIR has been lodged against unidentified persons for allegedly violating the model code of conduct by distributing calenders having photo and name of an independent candidate, police said on Thursday.
A case was lodged against unidentified persons by district electoral department under the relevant sections for violation the model code of conduct, they said.
Recently calenders bearing picture and name of independent MLA Mukhtar Ansari were distributed in the district.
Ansari is contesting from two seats Mau and Ghosi as Qaumi Ekta Dal candidate.
