Five terrorists shot dead by troops in J&K

Four were shot near the Line of Control in northern Kashmir while the fifth terrorist was killed in south of the state.

Five suspected terrorists were shot dead by troops in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday during patrols near the ceasefire line, the police and army said.

Four of the rebels were killed near the heavily-militarised Line of Control, a police spokesman said.

The fifth terrorist was killed by army and police forces in the south of the state, also along the Line of Control, army spokesman Colonel Hemant Joneja said.
