For Albie, it's anxiety time after grieving

Sport can be harsh. And none in the IPL would vouch for it better than Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Albie Morkel. The South African played a blinder under pressure the last time CSK beat Royal Challengers Bangalore. Thanks to his 7-ball 28, CSK chased down 206 off the last ball.
Now, back in the fold after missing a couple of games to attend the funeral of his best friend Louis Vorster — the South Africa domestic player who was shot in a robbery attempt — he is not sure of making the cut against RCB on Wedesday.
Despite Morkel's good earlier performances, CSK bowling coach, Andy Bichel said a decision on his inclusion would be taken before the game.
"He has done very well for us and also gave us an important win against RCB. But in his absence we have found a few more good options, who have grabbed their chances. Let's see if he makes the cut tomorrow."
Morkel was among the handful of players who turned up for CSK's optional practice session at the Chinnaswamy stadium. And he looked in fine nick with both bat and ball during the nets.
With the options Morkel provides, as a pacer and lower order batsman, it is unlikely he won't be playing. However, for Bichel, it is mental strength that matters more than playing skills.
"As a professional, it is tough to play after a personal loss like Albie has had; but he is a strong lad and I'm sure he will overcome it with time," said the Aussie.
