ALLAHABAD UNIVERSITY (AU) Students Union president Ajit Kumar Yadav criticised the AU administration for inconvenience to the students during the distribution of Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT) forms at AU Pravesh Bhawan counters on Saturday.
According to a Press release issued by Yadav, no proper arrangement has been made by the AU administration for the sale of PG forms making it inconvenient for the students.
Yadav said that corrupt practices were followed at the counters and students would protest against such corrupt practices if the AU authorities failed to take any action.
He said that no responsible official were present at the counters at Pravesh Bhawan till 2 pm, which raised a question mark over the ability of the director PGAT.
Student leader Sanjeev Rai said that the director PGAT has been working under the influence of some people.
He urged the Vice-Chancellor and the AU administration to discard the present system for distribution of forms and adopt a convenient and fair system.
IERT Notice: According to Examination Secretary, Institute of Engineering & Rural Technology (IERT) Dr TP Srivastava the entrance examination for admission to two years (four semester) Management Diploma will be held between 9 am to 12 pm at IERT Centre on May 30.
The students should participate in the interview scheduled to be held just after the written exam.
Those who have not received admit card can get the duplicate admit card one hour before the commencement of examination. The students should bring two coloured photographs and submitted Rs 10 to get the duplicate admit card from the centre administrator.
