Four intruders from Pak held, 2 kg heroin seized

Border Security Force on Saturday arrested four Pakistani intruders, while they were trying to enter India from Khem Karan sector in Tarn Taran district.

Border Security Force on Saturday arrested four Pakistani intruders, while they were trying to enter India from Khem Karan sector in Tarn Taran district.

The intruders were spotted near the Border Out Post Tapu and Kulwant near border pillar 174/10 along the Indo-Pak border, an official release said.

Two kilogram Heroin valued at Rs 10 crore in international market, two pistols with 17 rounds of ammunition, two Pakistani mobiles with four SIM cards, one Night Vision Device and Rs 1,451 of Pakistani currency were recovered from them.

DIG of BSF of Ferozepur Range Rajesh Gupta said that the intruders were spotted in wee hours this morning and added that a case against them under various sections of the Arms Act, NDPS Act and the Passport Act has been registered.

The four intruders have been identified as Fakir Hussain of village Haryar, Mohammad Iqlaq of Chanda Singh Wala, Akbar Sahi and Allah Wasya Masih of Shehajra in Pakistan.
