Singh, 77, who died on Monday had won Etawah parliamentary seat on the Congress ticket.

Veteran freedom fighter and former MP, Chaudhary Raghuraj Singh has passed away following a massive heart attack, family sources said in Etawah on Tuesday.

Singh, 77, who died on Monday had won Etawah parliamentary seat on the Congress ticket and was associated Congress throughout his life holding various positions in the party organisation, the sources said.

Singh's last rites were performed on the banks of river Yamuna on Tuesday in the presence of senior administrative officials and eminent citizens.
