The ministers will meet on the sidelines of an international conference attended by over 80 of their counterparts and international bodies, including UN chief Kofi Annan, said the spokesman at the Japanese embassy in Brussels.

"They'll talk about Iraq and also the reform of the UNSC", a spokesman at the Japanese embassy, Hiroaki Fujiwara, said, referring to the Security Council.

The Iraq conference, preceded by a dinner for participants in the evening, is designed to show solidarity with the violence-wracked country, and to hear Baghdad's plans for how to rebuild it.
