Gandhian Thakurdas Bang passes away
Gandhian philosopher and economist Thakurdas Bang passed away at his residence in Wardha early on Sunday, family sources said.
Bang (95) died in his sleep and was cremated later in the evening.
He is survived by his wife Suman and sons Abhay and Ashok.
Bang had participated in 'bhoodaan' movement led by Acharya Vinoba Bhave in 1953.
