Also, Dr RP Singh, deputy chief medical officer and programme officer District AIDS Control Programme Allahabad has been made the CMS of TB Hospital Teliarganj.

The transfer list of the Class I PMS doctors released recently also contains the names of atleast two dozen senior medical officers including Dy CMOs and CMSs posted in Allahabad district. Meanwhile, some senior medical officers have raised objection over their allegedly wrong transfer and posting. However, the transfers have been done in compliance of the High Court's orders. The court has directed the Principal Secretary (Health) to submit an affidavit in this regard on April 6.

Chief medical officer Dr Shantimal Singhavi said few more senior medical officers have been transferred. But their names will be revealed once the transfer list is received, he added. Meanwhile the health visitors appointed on contractual basis under the Revised National TB Control Programme have expressed resentment over the delay made in releasing their payments.

They have complained that for the last six months they have not received their payments due to which they are facing difficulty in approaching the TB cases.

The workers have also threatened to stop work in case their payments were not released within 15 days.
