MINISTER FOR Commerce and Industries Babulal Gaur today reviewed the progress of proposed three park projects to be set up by Essel World. The State Government has already decided to grant exemption in entertainment tax to these projects.

MINISTER FOR Commerce and Industries Babulal Gaur today reviewed the progress of proposed three park projects to be set up by Essel World. The State Government has already decided to grant exemption in entertainment tax to these projects.

Essel Group’s vice president (Corporate Affairs) Neelesh Mistri mentioned that the establishment of an entertainment park is a mega project of the Essel Group, where a water amusement park, multiplexes and swings would be available.

It will be the first park of its kind in the State with a capital investment of about Rs 250 crore. Besides the big cities, the group would establish multiplexes in small towns also, where films would be screened through satellite.

Principal Secretary, Commerce & Industries AK Asthana, Principal Secretary, Commercial Tax GP Singhal, Managing Director, MPSIDC, Raghav Chandra, Director, Town & Country Planning SN Mishra, Collector, Bhopal Sanjay Shukla and Pan India Tourism Limited’s RP Tyagi attended the meeting.
