Four of the officials who were suspended on Wednesday included an executive engineer SS Shukla, assistant engineer APN Singh, junior engineer Imtiaz Ahmad and RS Yadav.
Earlier, the government had suspended three IAS, two PCS officers and an account officer along with 15 others employees, as their names were mentioned in a probe report conducted by three members committee constituted by the State government.
Those who had been suspended so far included former vice-chairman of the authority Ram Sajeevan,
SB Saxena, Satyendra Mishra, two PCS officer Mant Lal and PK Srivastav and accounts officer UN Upadhyaya, executive engineer RS Khan and 13 others.
It may mentioned that Urban Development Minister had constituted a three members team to conduct a probe in the development works carried out by the GDA from 2003 to 2005. The probe team had detected gross financial irregularities in land record, allocation of funds to different works and registration of land near planetarium to the colonisers.
Then chief secretary had ordered then V-C of the GDA Satyendra Mishra to handover all records and files of development works carried out by the authority in two years to him.
The suspension order of five more officials has caused embarrassment among the GDA employees.
They were surprised that in suspension list, the officials who were not posted here in 2003-05 were included in the list.
