In a statement, committee president RC Sharma said such efforts made by the German ambassador are appreciable for restoring the faith of people of the country and abroad in J&K.

He said some handful of people of the country had made Kashmir as a disputed territory of the Indian state, which has be shown as a wrong concept among the people of world.

"Such steps not only strengthen the relations between India and Germany but the entire world community would learn a lesson of complete co-operation for the development of the world community," he added.

Sharma said the German ambassador organised the concert by renowned conductor of Bavarian State Orchestra, Zubin Mehta to make it clear that people of Kashmir want peace and heartily accept the present regime under the Indian constitution.

He dispelled all the rumours aimed at tarnishing the image of Kashmir, India and Michael Steiner. He added that some people in connivance with some separatists tried to malign the image of Michael Steiner, which is part of some conspiracy.
