Police on Thursday requested the German woman, allegedly raped by an auto-rikshaw driver and his accomplice at Jodhpur on Wednesday night, to stay back in the city and cooperate in investigation into the incident, a senior official said.

The victim has agreed to stay in the walled city and help police in conducting the probe till the identification parade is over, Superintendent of Police Ravi Prakash Meharda said.
Meanwhile, the two accused produced before a local court were remanded for judicial custody, and the police has sought a date for their identification parade, the SP said.
Police also informed about the incident to the German embassy at Delhi, he said. A security cover has also been provided to her, he added.
The 47-year-old woman from Frankfurt, who is an employee with Lufthansa airlines, was raped night and her mobile phone and cash that she was carrying was also looted.
