The outlaws not only tore the tender forms of a Noida-based contractor but also detained an employee of his firm issuing him life threats.
However, the police team responded to the information of brawl promptly and arrested six goons from the spot. The victim contractor lodged an FIR into the matter and the cops slapped 7-Criminal amendment Law Act too besides other sections of the IPC on the gang of ruffians.
The incident took place at 9-A, Rana Pratap Marg office of the federation around 11.30 am. The department had invited tender from the concerned contractors for the annual supply of stationary materials on Wednesday.
The officials were supposed to fix the rate for the supply.
Prabhakar Nath Pandey, a native of Bichhaiya village, Lotan police circle in Sidhhartha Nagar district was eying for the contract and had submitted the tender form. Pandey was camping outside the federation office along with his associates Harendra Yadav of Bansgaon, Mukesh Kumar of Betia Hata, Jayant Chaturvedi of Barhalganj and Mayank Ojha of Rajendra Nagar, all hailing from Gorakhpur and Pradeep Chaubey of Sahadat Nagri, Mau district.
Jayant and Pradeep are students of BA-I and BA-III, respectively with the LU.
However, Pandey with the help of his aides was ensuring that nobody else submitted the tender form. Meanwhile, AK Rastogi, employed with a contractor Sanjay Dubey’s firm of 73, Sector-10, Noida, walked into the office premises carrying a tender form.
Before Rastogi could have crossed the main gate, Pandey and his aides pounced upon him.
