ACCUSING THE BJP Government in Madhya Pradesh of failing to protect minorities, senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh today held the saffron party and allied outfits responsible for recent attacks on Christians and churches in the State.

“Saffron organisations are trying to terrorise Christians by targeting them and attacking churches and venues of their prayer meetings,” the AICC general secretary and former chief minister told PTI here.

Asking Governor Balram Jakhar and the Minorities Commission to seek explanation from the State Government regarding these incidents and direct it to punish the culprits, Singh alleged that the State Government has “failed miserably in ensuring safety and security of minorities”.
