Irked by Opposition tactics of stalling Lok Sabha business, Government on Monday made it clear it was opposed to a second adjournment motion being taken up in the House.

"This morning, suddenly the BJP changed their stance and disrupted the Question Hour and, therefore, the question of taking up another adjournment motion again is not valid," Parliamentary Affairs Minister PR Dasmunsi told reporters in New Delhi.
The House was adjourned for the day after the Opposition parties trooped into shouting slogans against the Government.
"I appeal to the Opposition leaders, especially from BJP, to behave in a manner in which they can bring any issue they like and the Government is prepared very firmly to respond to it to the satisfaction of this House," he said.
"If the BJP does not want business and continues disruption, it is upto the Chair of the House to decide" on the issue, he said.
The BJP in the Lok Sabha earlier in the day had demanded suspension of the Question Hour for taking up concerns like terrorism and price rise.
