Rajkot district authorities have made grand preparations for 'Jal Shakti' sammelan to be attended by Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi on April 25.

The sammelan is concluding part of the Government's year-long golden jubilee celebration and nearly 1.5 lakh people are expected to attend the function for which adequate security arrangement has been made.
Huge kalash (pinnacle)-shaped balloons and banners having photos of have been displayed at the main venue at Race Course Ground.
The chief minister would first inaugurate a three-day exhibition on importance of water and then address the gathering, official sources said.
A cultural programme has also been organised, they added.
