The three-day religious event held under the auspices of Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math and Sri Vaishnav Vedant Samiti, began from Sri Jagannath temple located at Chini Dharmashala on Zero Road.

The Rath 'Nandighosh' especially built for Lord Jagannath was magnificently decorated. After placing the idols in the Rath, the priests performed shringar followed by puja, archana, bhog and arti.

The yatra took the route of Mansarovar crossing, Bahadurganj, Chowk and finally culminated at the point of origin. Devotees performed the darshan and offered flowers and sweets on the way.

Sankirtan done by the saints invited from across the country gave the event a religious essence.

Arti was done by convenor Radhamohan 'Ratnesh' while the entire event was conducted by chief priest of Vedant Vaishnav Samiti Bodhayan Goswami Maharaj. Devaki Nandan, Manoj Gupta and several others led the procession.

On June 28, several bhajans will be organised in the evening followed by discourse by Sri Bodhayan. Chhappan bhog, darshan and mass meal will be organised afterwards.

The concluding day (June 29) will be marked with bhajan and discourse by Radhamohan Das 'Ratnesh' in the evening.
