Guru Nanak School holds annual function

Former union minister and MP Sartaj Singh and Mayor Sunil Sood were the guests at the programme and also distributed prizes to the students excelling and academic and extra curricular activities.
President of the School Society Amrik Singh, Kartar Singh Full, president of the Gurudwara Idgah Hills Gyani Dilip Singh, spokesman Gurucharan Singh Arora and others were present. Speaking on the occasion, Sartaj Singh said the future of children depends on good education and therefore we should be impart international-level education at our school.
Sood said the students should make best of the education provided to them and try to prove true to the expectations of their parents and society.
The annual report on the school activities was presented by principal Surjit Kaur. Students presented famous folk dances bhangra and giddha from Punjab, Holi song from Rajasthan, garba from Gujarat and a dance drama based on children who have no access to education.
