Gzb murders: condolence meet ends amid ruckus

A condolence meeting to pay homage to the seven murdered members of the Goel family culminated on Tuesday amid noisy scenes, slogans and hooliganism. The scene turned violent after local politicians raised slogans against police and held the state government responsible for the gruesome murder of the seven people.

A condolence meeting to pay homage to the seven murdered members of the Goel family culminated on Tuesday amid noisy scenes, slogans and hooliganism. The scene turned violent after local politicians raised slogans against police and held the state government responsible for the gruesome murder of the seven people.

The meeting at Agrasen Bhawan here was attended by local politicians, a former MP, the Ghaziabad mayor, and the former and present MLAs of the area. Aam Admi Party member and local resident Manish Shishodia was also present. The meeting had to be concluded shortly after one of the relatives of the victims went to the dais and declared that the family was convinced with the investigations. Soon after, local politicians started raising slogans against the police.
