Haryana govt announces big money to its medal winners in Busan

Haryana Government will give a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh to every Busan Asian Games gold medal winner from the state, Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala announced here on Sunday.

Haryana Government will give a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh to every Busan Asian Games gold medal winner from the state, Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala announced here on Sunday.

During his visit to the Bhiwani residence of Ram Mehar, member of the gold-medal winning kabaddi team, Chautala also announced a reward of Rs seven lakh and Rs five lakh respectively for the silver and bronze medal winners from the state, an official release said here.

Appreciating Mehar's effort and his ability to lead the team which brought laurels to the country, Chautala said the state government was committeed towards giving incentives and all possible facilities to budding sports talent in the state.
