HBTI director, Dr RP Singh lighted a lamp to inaugurate the festival. Students performed a vandana dance, which was followed by the address of Singh.

Speaking on the occasion, Singh appreciated the hard work put in by the students to make the programme a success. He asked them to continue doing the same in their lives in whatever they did.

After his speech, college students put up some mesmerising performances including solo and duet songs and dance items. However, performance of the mimicry artists was clearly the flavour of the day. Students also enacted a short skit. The last item of the day was a melodious instrumental performance, in which students played several musical instruments like flute, guitar etc.

While enthusiastic first and second year students participated in the various programmes and showcased their hidden talents, the third year students were given the responsibility of conducting the show.

Dean of student welfare, KA Mishra, chairman of council of student’s activity, Devendra Agarwal, convener of cultural club, Subhash Sharma and secretary of council of students’ activities, Professor Brajesh Katiyar were among those present to witness the performances.
