Security has been beefed up across the state, particularly in Hyderabad and special police teams were deployed at vulnerable places, Home Minister K Jana Reddy told reporters in Hyderabad.

Describing the Bangalore blasts as an act of terror by foreign elements aiming to destablise India, Reddy said the government would take all measures to maintain law and order.
