Hizbul Mujahideen battalion commander arrested

A self-styled battalion commander of Hizbul Mujahideen has been arrested from Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Saturday.

A self-styled battalion commander of Hizbul Mujahideen has been arrested from Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Saturday.

Acting on a tip off, police raided Gutibagh in Ganderbal and arrested Showkeen Khan, Superintendent of Police Abdul Razak Khan said.

Razak said Khan, a resident of Gutibagh, was active in Akhal Kangan area for the last six years.
