With the recovery of the three bodies, the toll in the incident has climbed to 10.

The rescue team found three bodies from the debris of the hotel building during the operations conducted overnight, fire brigade officials said.

The three who survived the collapse have been identified as Ghansyam Jit, Mansuri Lakhani and Sunita Mansuri. They were rushed to the nearby civil hospital, they said.

Rescue operations are still on at the building site which collapsed yesterday, officials said.

Seven bodies were found from the debris by fire brigade personnel last night, while several injured have been admitted to hospitals.

The cause of the collapse of the 23-year-old building was not known but officials said the restructuring work being undertaken in the premises and some ongoing construction in the adjacent building could have been a factor.
