House stalled over demolition issue

Proceedings in Parliament were disrupted with BJP-led NDA demanding a Bill to stall demolitions in Delhi.

Both Houses of Parliament on Thursday witnessed uproar over the issue of demolitions in the Capital and were adjourned for the day after the BJP-led Opposition made it clear that it would not allow their functioning till a Bill was brought to find a way out.
