Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday promoted 100 Assistant Sub Inspectors to the rank of Sub Inspectors, police spokesman said.

Inspector General of Police (Jammu Zone) SP Vaid ordered the promotions of 100 ASIs of Executive Police (Jammu Zone) to the rank of SIs with a pay scale of Rs 5600-175-9100 with effect from Tuesday, the spokesman said.
