Pushpendra Singh ‘Dadu’, 26, resident of Jawahar Chowk, along with his friends, Jitendra and Hitesh, was riding a motorcycle when a SUV hit them. As the trio fell down the Scorpio reversed and again hit Singh who was also hit by a car from the other side a little while later.
He succumbed to the injuries later in the hospital. The police registered a case of murder in this regard. The investigations have revealed that one, Naseem Ali, had phoned Singh and asked him to come and see a motorcycle that was up for sale.
The suspects, Atul Bharti and Jogendra, a resident of South TT Nagar, are missing, police said. Even the two vehicles involved in the attack are yet to be recovered. It is suspected that Singh was dashed to death due to an old enmity.
