Oscar winning actress Angelina Jolie has slammed reports that she is a dark femme fatale character saying that the image is entirely false.

According to Contactmusic, Jolie had won an Academy Award for her performance as a mental hospital patient in Girl, Interrupted and used to wear a vial of ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton's blood around her neck. But she says she is a totally normal, everyday person.

She says: "People think that I carry a dark secret with me or that I am obsessed with death. The truth is that I am probably the least morbid person one can meet."
