Team India captain Rahul Dravid on Tuesday rubbished media reports about spat between him and former captain Sourav Ganguly just before the start of the first Test, asserting that they were discussing cricket and nothing else.

Speaking for the first time on the issue, Dravid said, "I would like to say that there was no issue. We were discussing cricket. A former captain or a senior cricketer and a coach discuss cricket a lot. But what we discuss is between us."

"Please do not interpret everything as a controversy or as an issue, specially at times like this when everything is blown out of proportion," he added.
