Faculty member of ICFAI National College Prof Arvind Jain, deliberated on the essence of team building in any organisation to achieve the pinnacle of success.
In today’s fast track life, when competition was cutthroat, team building was the key to success. “Since it creates a cohesive atmosphere conducive in improvising work culture and work ethics of both an individual as well as of an organisation,” he said.
Prof Abhishek Malviya, another faculty member of INC-Allahabad emphasised leadership in fostering a healthy atmosphere in an organisation which in turn laid the foundation of a healthy team. “A leader must be dynamic with a multi-faceted personality to be able to bring out the best from all the team members of the team,” he said.
Prof Sandeep Dubey, centre Head, ICFAI National College exemplified the notion of team building and leadership through various examples from the corporate world, thereby brining home the fact that organisations which followed the ‘participative approach’ were more successful in comparison to those organisations which followed an individualistic approach.
Senior DAG, PAG Office AK Sharma, emphasised devising a tool to improve work culture and work ethics in government sector enunciating the fact that in today’s liberalised economy, private sector had grown by leaps and bounds by virtue of the effective leadership and team spirit displayed by employees.
