ICTSL to start three routes from Feb 8

INDORE CITY Transport Services Limited (ICTSL) operators will commence plying buses on Niranjanpur-Tejaji Nagar, Tejaji Nagar ? Airport and Sanchar Nagar ? Rajwada routes from February 8. Two buses on each of the three routes will ply between 7 am and 11 pm, SDM and project in-charge Chandramauli Shukla informed.

The buses plying on Niranjanpur- Tejaji Nagar route will start from Dewas Naka with halts at Vijay Nagar, MIG, Palasia, Geeta Bhavan, Shivaji Triangle, GPO, Navlakha, Bhanwarkuan and Asharam Bapu Junction before they reach Tejaji Nagar.

The second route chosen for inaugural service is Tejaji Nagar to Airport. This bus will stop at Tejaji Nagar, Bhanwarkuan, Juni Indore, Collectorate, Mhow Naka, Gangwal Bus Stand and Bada Ganpati before reaching Airport.

The Sanchar Nagar to Rajwada route, on the other hand, will cover Kanadia, Tilak Nagar, Patrakar Junction, Regal Junction, Railway Station, Patel Bridge and Jawahar Marg before reaching heart of the City.

The local transport company has cherry picked AB Road, MG Road and airport route to launch its maiden operations. This, however, will be a trial run when ICTSL will gauge public response and overcome shortcomings till the transport services begin full scale on all the 16 routes by mid March.

The company’s bus operators are expecting to receive another 10 buses by February 15.
