IDBI Bank on Friday announced customer-friendly initiatives including seven-day branches in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Pune and Bangalore.

"The bank will also offer extended banking hours from 8 am to 8 pm in these cities to provide convenience to customers," said R.M. Malla, chairman and managing director, IDBI Bank.
The bank also launched its festive offer by lowering interest rate on auto loans for limited period. "For auto loan products during October, 1 to November 30, 2010, there would be a 0.5 per cent discount on interest rates across all segments and also 50 per cent reduction in processing fee."
The bank also launched Women International Debit card for its Super Shakti account holders, a special variant of a normal debit card with features such as insurance cover, loyalty points on point-of-sale spends.
The bank also introduced in-built overdraft facility for salary account holders, besides signing a memorandum of understanding with Small Industries Development Bank of India for joint financing of micro, small and medium units.
