Do not use electricity. Instead use solar lights or candles made from bee’s wax to lit up your party area.

Car Pool

Go for a shared use of cars instead of using private vehicles. The lesser the number of cars driven, the lesser will be the fuel consumption.

Green Gifts

Exchange presents of potted plants. For instance, gift the birthday boy, or the girl, with a rose plant or a lemon sapling or even a plant of aromatic coriander leaves.

No sound equipments

Don’t use music stereo systems for long. They demand electricity and also create… yes, even if the music is great, noise pollution. Shh..., sometimes it is fun to play antakshari.

E-mail invitations

Instead of using paper invitations for your party, go for e-mail or text-message invites. This means less paper and more trees.
