IED blast in Meghalaya’s East Garo Hills leaves injures seven
At least seven people, including a woman, were injured when Garo National Liberation Army militants triggered an IED blast in Meghalaya’s East Garo Hills district on Saturday.

At least seven people, including a woman, were injured when Garo National Liberation Army militants triggered an IED blast in Meghalaya’s East Garo Hills district on Saturday.
The moderate intensity blast occurred near a wine shop in the Williamnagar bazar. The seven injured were shifted to civil hospital for treatment, Inspector General of Police (Operations) GHP Raju said.
He said that the superintendent of police was supervising the operations at the site.
According to the IG, GNLA cadre Ajan Ch Momin alias Jimmy sent his fighter to trigger the IED blast.
