A constable was injured while assisting in defusing an IED and three landmines at a school building in naxal-hit Aurangabad district today.

The explosives were found in the Jordi school building under Madanpur police station, DGP Neelmani said.

A constable was injured by splinters while assisting in the defusing operation, he said.

Polling would be held in area in the sixth and final phase on November 20.
