IIM-A for development programmes in Gulf

The premier institute has entered into an agreement with Competence HR LLC, a human resource firm in Oman.

The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), has entered into an agreement with Competence HR LLC, a human resource firm in Oman, to provide management development programmes in Oman, Qatar and Abu Dhabi.

Under the agreement, Competence HR will be the representative of India's top business school in the respective countries and will hold a series of programmes to develop management skills.

The first such programme under the agreement, 'Enhancing Leadership Capabilities', will be held from May 6 to 8 at the Sur Plaza Hotel in Sur, Oman. This will be followed by a series of management development programmes on strategy, marketing and finance.

While IIM-A has emerged as a confluence of the best Western and Eastern ideas, Competence HR is known for bringing a series of management seminars, workshops and events to Muscat.
