In a complaint, the missing Mikhail Muduli's father, Iswar Chandra Muduli, said his son came to his friend's house in Ranchi on July 15, stayed there for two days before telling them that he would go to a religious place and has remained untraced since then, police said.

"We have got the complaint by Muduli's father this afternoon that his son went missing. A missing report will be soon filed in this connection," they said.

Iswar Chandra Muduli is an associate professor (Surgery) with the Venkatgiri Medical College in Orissa's Berhampur district.
