In the mega health camp eminent super specialist doctors would render cost-free services to poor patients with holistic treatment.
In a press conference held on Thursday and attended by the IMA office bearers, Dr UC Sinha secretary IMA said the telemedicine facility would also be provided to patients visiting the camp.
He said a panel of doctors led by Dr Arti Lalchandani of GSVM College would diagnose and inspect the patients with cardiac ailments.
To ensure proper follow up of the patients who would visit the mega health camp, IMA city wing has ensured that a super specialist doctor would sit at the IMA clinic once in a week so that the patients could visit the concerned doctor on that day.
In the mega health camp patients would be provided free medicines besides free treatment. Addressing mediapersons Dr SK Gupta, president IMA city wing said, “Motive behind organising free super specialty health camp is to encourage patients to present a complete picture of their problem before the doctors.
“The camp is not meant for symptomatic treatment but it would be based on holistic treatment of patients till they finally recuperate from their diseases,” he said.
