THE ALLAHABAD High Court has directed the Cantonment Board, Allahabad, to draw a plan with the help of the concerned agencies for further improvement of the site of Bade Hanumanji Temple, Triveni Bandh, near Allahabad Fort.

However, the court directed the Board to take every step without losing sight of prior judicial verdict regarding Bade Hanumanji Temple and its precinct around and its vicinity.

Earlier, the court had directed the authorities concerned to make such a State at the site of Bade Hanumanji, which would promote the public and traffic convenience without impairing the security measures so germane to the Allahabad Fort, which is in occupation of the Army.

The court asked senior advocate Satish Trivedi, Assistant Solicitor General of India KC Sinha, government advocate Vijay Shankar Mishra, AGA Mewa Lal Shukla, advocate RB Singhal to render their contributory assistance to the Cantonment Board in this regard by also having a dialogue with them.

The Allahabad High Court passed this order on a petition filed by Bade Hanumanji, Trivedi Bandh and others through its priest.
