Keep tabs on urea, power supply: CM to ministers
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday instructed ministers to monitor urea and electricity supply in the districts assigned to them. Urea crisis sparked a farmers’ protest in Gwalior on Monday.

In the last fortnight, farmers held demonstrations at many places, including Dabra and Datia, over non-availability of urea. The Congress blamed the ‘erratic’ supply system for the fertiliser crisis in the State.

Textbook revision begins
Textbook writing for standards IX and XI according to the revised syllabus began on Tuesday. Despite the controversy generated by deletion of certain chapters in some textbooks of primary and middle classes, the writing of textbooks for higher secondary classes has been given to the same standing committee under the Rajya Shiksha Kendra.
