A PROGRAMME against tobacco was jointly organised on the eve of ?No Tobacco Day? by the KMC and Yog Jyoti India on Tuesday. People gathered at Nanarao swimming pool to spread awareness regarding tobacco products and also performed Yoga in water.

Speaking on the occasion Yoga expert Jyoti Baba said that passive smoking at public places is an invitation to lung cancer.
He said any person who is able to kick the smoking, tobacco-chewing habit could win Rs 1 lakh, which would be given by Yog Jyoti India. The participants have to take an oath that they would not consume tobacco and will have to reach Gandhi Pratima, Phoolbagh at 11.30 am on Wednesday. They have to fill an oath form in writing. The winners would be declared through a lucky draw.
Besides, gift hampers would be distributed among participants. Also, they will be provided a free health check-up worth Rs 3000.
