Latest figures reveal that India's trade with the European Union's has increased considerably, with the EU importing goods worth 17 billion Euros from India.

According to the first estimates released by Eurostat, the EU's statistics bureau, the 25-member European Bloc exported 19 billion Euro worth of goods to India from January-November 2005, registering a growth of 24 per cent over the same period in 2004.
Consequently, the EU imported goods worth 17.3 billion Euro from India, an increase of 17 per cent over the same period in 2004.
According to the figures, India ranks fourth in terms of its imports to the EU.
