India Fashion Week begins on Apr 5

New Delhi, Mar 6 (PTI) The biggest fashion jambooree in the country - Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week - showcasing collections of fashion gurus like Ritu Kumar, Rohit Bal, Satya Paul, J J Vallaya and Rina Dhaka will begin here on April 5, the Fashion Design Council of India announced today.

"We have brought together, on a single platform, India's biggest names in the fashion and creative arena. We have had a fabulous response and the number of designers participating this year," FDCI Director General Rathi Vinay Jha said.

Most of the designers would be showing their collections on the ramps, while others would be displaying their garments and accessories in a specially designed trade stall area.

The designers have come from all over India, including Bangalore,Chennai, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi, he added.
