Kumble told reporters in Bangalore after a practice session that coach John Wright, skipper Sourav Ganguly and the team management were probably looking towards playing the trio of himself, Harbhajan Singh and Murali Karthik.

"The pitch is pretty dry and it will be a good wicket, though it has changed a bit. Hopefully it will spin. But that depends on when and how," Kumble contended.

Australian coach John Buchanan indicated on Sunday he might field with three seamers — Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee and Jason Gillespie but only one spinner in Shane Warne.

Declining to comment on this, Kumble said: "It's their strategy. I would not like to comment on that."

Exuding confidence, Kumble said the Indian team would obviously have the home advantage.

"The home advantage is there with us. We have always done well at home, especially against Australia. We would like to take that confidence into the game and do our best to win the Test.
