Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that though peace and stability in Nepal was a concern for India, peacekeeping forces would not be sent to the neighbouring country.

"I have already sent a colleague of mine, Karan Singh, to Nepal. Peace and stability in Nepal is a concern for India. It has not reached a stage of sending peacekeeping forces to Nepal," he said.

"This crisis would be dealt with step by step," he said.
