Sonika Vickraman won bronze medal in the Senior Women Kata category at the 15th World Karate Cup in Halkida, Greece.
The Coimbatore girl, who is a student of the Alan Thilak Karate School, was coached by former chief coach of India Dai Sensei Moses Thilak.
India finished 22nd in the eight-day event that saw participation which 46 countries participated, a release from All India Shitoryu Karate Do Federation said on Tuesday.
Russia emerged champions in the event followed by Greece and Jordan.
